Project:              Installation of a handicap ramp at the sanctuary and business entrances of the church.  The proposed materials used on the ramps will be masonry, wood, and black metal to complement the current building and fencing. Application and pictures are attached.

 

At the meeting, the approval also included fabric awnings to match the existing fabric awnings that are the building.

The Chair announced that this was the time to hear comments on the public hearing.

Matt Wallace, representing the application, gave a brief overview of the proposed project and stated the ramps will increase accessibility for the community. He also indicated they would like to have awnings put over the ramps like the existing fabric awnings on the building. Mr. Wallace also confirmed the new ramp will cover half the steps across the front.

At this point, the Chair declared the hearing closed and the motion to approve the resolution, with the addition to allow the installation of fabric awnings like the existing, follows:
